About Me

Paper is my thinking tool. The pages start blank until my stream of consciousness pours through my hand. The spaces fill with words and lists, sketches, drawings, and diagrams. I capture these ideas with my pen or pencil, translating thoughts into physical presence on paper. It is here that I find things: a face where it isn’t, a word’s conflicting definitions, unanswered questions. I follow these streams of thought. How could digital experience be tangible? What would it be like to relive this dream? Why does this machine work? What if I could see what’s invisible? Hear what is silent? I listen, I keep, I iterate.

What does this make me? I am a creative technologist. I play with perception, attention, material, and wonder. I am an artist. I sketch with pencil, code, and technology. My work will always, in some way, reflect an observation, a fantastic dream, or a thought that I’ve collected. I am a learner and an experimenter, an investigator and an explorer, a designer who seeks to show how much the world has to perceive. Whether I draw, build, write, code, or wield another medium not yet invented, I hope to guide my viewers to experience their worlds, and their minds, thoughtfully, with curiosity, close observation, and perhaps a piece of paper.

Originally trained in illustration, I recently graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Design and Technology at Parsons School of Design, The New School (NYC).
